The Mission of Kay's Kamp is to provide children ages 5 to 17 who are battling cancer and those now in remission the opportunity to participate in a unique camping experience promoting fun and normalcy - Free of Charge!

Once your application has been submitted you will receive a confirmation email from one of our staff directors. After your background check has been completed, you will receive an email with confirmation and further instructions on how to sign-up and complete our online staff training.

Returning staff applications must be received by April 15th, 2019.


Once your application has been submitted you will receive a confirmation email from one of our staff directors. After your background check has been completed, a staff director will contact you with important information regarding new staff interview dates, times and location. After your interview, you will receive an email notice indicating whether or not you have been hired and, where appropriate, the steps you need to take to begin the online staff training process.

New Staff applications must be received by April 29th , 2019.


Our junior counselor position is offered to new and returning 19-year-old adults who are currently in treatment or cancer survivors. This program was recently restructured to ease the transition from an LIT to a future staff member. (Please use New Staff Application for Jr. Counselor position.)

Jr. Counselor applications must be received by April 29th, 2019.


Select staff are required to complete online training by June 21st. Online training will be required for new staff or those who have been away from Kamp for 1 or more years. Returning staff who have been with Kamp for less than 3 years will also have to complete EOT. Returners who have more than 3 years of experience and are in good standing with Kamp will only complete EOT every 3 years. All staff will still be required to attend orientation and be responsible for reading the staff manual. For those that are required to complete online training, If you do not do so you will be unable to join us for the 2019 Kamp week.
