What is a Quarter Auction?
Auction Items are donated by business professionals representing 31 Gifts,
Celebrating Home, Dove Chocolate, Lia Sophia, Longaberger, Mary Kay, Mia Bella,
Pampered Chef, Stampin’ Up, Tastefully Simple, Wildtree, and others.
Bidders purchase advanced tickets for $15.00 and receive a numbered paddle and
$10 in quarters upon arrival at the auction. Participants have time to preview the
auction items, enjoy refreshments, and shop with the consultants before the auction
begins. At auction time, the auctioneer presents the first item for bid and announces
the bid amount; either 1, 2, 3 or 4 quarters. Interested parties place the bid amount
in the basket provided and hold their paddle in the air. The auctioneer picks a
numbered ball and calls the number. The bidder with that number wins the bid item;
if the individual with that number did not bid on the item; additional numbers are
called until the item is won. This process continues for each auction item.
The Kay’s Kamp Quarter Auction
Held at the Hartly Volunteer Fire Company on Friday February 5th. Doors open at
6pm for lunch, a preview of auction items, and shopping with the consultants.
Bidding starts promptly at 7:00pm.
A portion of the Ticket Sales, all of the proceeds from Kay’s Kamp Auction
Items, and all of the proceeds from Food Sales will be given to Kay’s Kamp
to support Kay’s Kamp 2010.
Tickets Must Be Purchased in Advance Due to Limited Capacity.

and today she lives on in our hearts through her
scrapbooks!
We will be making memories of our own early this fall by
holding an all day Scrapbooking Krop (for those who do
not know what this is, think ‘modern day Quilting Bee’).
All proceeds from this event will benefit Kay’s dream ~
Kay’s Kamp! Bring your pictures, paper, and scissors,
etc. & join us for a day of fun & fellowship.
